Laminating and Mounting
Cold Matte Laminating
Cold matte laminating is single-sided and applied only to the face of the print. This form of laminating is most commonly used on self-adhesive prints or prints to be mounted using a particular method in the future. Perfect for displays, this option is available for prints up to 1250mm wide.
Hot Gloss Laminating
Hot gloss laminating or encapsulating; is double sided, sealing the print between two layers of gloss film laminate. This option is the most common form of laminating and is perfect for protecting prints and posters, adding a gloss finish to a matte print or enabling text to be written on the print with a whiteboard marker.
This form of laminating is more rigid than cold lamination. This option is available for prints up to 950mm wide.
Foamcore Mounting
Don’t just stop at the print! Give your print project the finish it deserves by having it mounted onto a piece of foamcore. Mounting is a great way to add rigidity to your print and is perfect for student hand-outs, presentations, awards, pitches and are perfect for photo boards.
